Church Ministries / Group Involvement
-Dave is the pastor to students of middle and high school age and is responsible for eating all things chocolate when he's not dieting.
Calling to Ministry:
-While Dave came to Ventura Baptist Church from North Carolina he actually grew up in Fort Worth, TX. He was raised in a Christian home and received the gift of salvation at the age of seven. Dave is the second born of two boys and two girls and is by far the handsomest of the group, just ask him. He rededicated his life to Christ at age 18 and sensed God's leading to full time ministry at age 19. Since that time Dave has been actively involved in some type of student ministry. Most recently he came to us from Westover Church in Greensboro, N.C. where he served as the Student Ministry Small Groups Pastor.
Education / Accreditation / Training:
-Dave graduated with a B.S. in Theology from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1993. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and he's happy to say that it is almost done being pursued.
